Members of the Breckland Land Rover
Club in cooperation with the National
Construction college are again holding their popular annual charity
fundraising show.
 |
|
This is the one event of the year when club members come together to raise money for a chosen charity.
All profits from the show are
once again to be donated to The East Anglian Air Ambulance.
No commercial profits are being made by the club or the National Construction College who
allow free use of the land. Last year's event raised over £4,000 for the Air Ambulance, so lets see if, with your help, we can do even better in 2004.
The 7th East Anglian Off-Road and Outdoor Show will take place from the
evening of Friday 4th June to 4pm Sunday 6th June at the National
Construction College, Bircham Newton, (on the B1155) in North Norfolk.

* Overnight camping/caravanning from 4pm Fri 4th. (with water and toilet facilities but no hook ups).
* Off road driving course to suite all 4 (or more) wheel drive vehicles from 10am Sat & Sun.
* Licensed beer tent each day.
* Catering facilities throughout.
* Car and military vehicle club displays.
* Trade stands.
* Off road driving tuition.
* Quads.
* Disco and band Friday evening
* Live band Saturday evening.
* Children's entertainment.
* ATC "Bomb Run".
* Children's electric 'go carts'
* Auction of donated goods and promises 5pm Sat.
* Helicopter flights. (The Air Ambulance will also land on site between callouts)
* Radio controlled Land Rovers

* MOD displays. (including laser target range)
* Vehicle pressure wash facilities
* Off road competition driving demonstrations with passenger rides (you have got to be kidding).
* Bouncy castle. (would any show be complete without one)

Entry
Entry to the site is £5 per car, £7.50 per minibus,
£3.50 per motorcycle, and includes all entertainment.
Off-road course £25 all weekend, £15 one day,
£4 one lap.
Camping information:
Over 200 camping / caravanning pitches are available on good
level grassland with ample parking space. Fresh water is on
tap, and basic toilet facilities will be provided, but no
hook-ups are available. |

Trade stand
Spaces starts at £50. Over 200 caravan/camping pitches are
available at £7.50 weekend, Club stand size will be allocated according to
your needs (some clubs brought over 20 vehicles last year and were easily
accommodated) and are free. Entry to the site is £5 per vehicle and includes
all entertainment, off road course £25 all weekend, £15 one day, £4 one lap.

General Information
The off road course will cover approx 2 miles around a basically sand and grass area and will include none damaging routes suitable for all 4X4s. Alternative increasingly more challenging sections will be available for the more adventurous drivers with better equipped vehicles.
All the above does not happen by itself. Anyone willing to help out with
marshalling the course or manning the gate please make yourselves known. All help is greatly appreciated and will be rewarded with free entry into the marshals prize draw. |
