Firstly A few words of appreciation
At the kind invitation of
Gregory Flaving, principal Morgan importer for
Germany & the German Morgan owners Club, Rpi
Engineering were invited to spend four wonderful days on the 'Morgan Club
stand' at the Essen 'Auto Classic Show' , not only invited to display our
latest products and engines but wholeheartedly enjoying the accompanying
recommendations that our kind invite and warm reception from both Gregory and
the Morgan club both afforded & extended to us. The Essen Auto-Classic
is the largest show of its kind in Europe and extends over a four day period,
but with the setting up of such a magnificent stand, I can only imagine the
Deutschland Club and Messrs. Flaving must have spent many months, if not all
year, arranging it all. The end result however was not only superb, but a
mighty credit to their efforts. The stand, with ( I recall), at least 12
Morgans. ( three wheelers, Plus 4's, Plus 8's. & the new Aero 8. ). All, In
there presence spanning many Morgan Motor company production years, But funnily
enough the only 'new' car , in a classic car field without ever looking out of
place, even with the new Aero 8 model.
I digress, Notwithstanding the incredible car display, The
stand Skillfully depicting the 'Oldy worldy'. Malvern factory, setting of the
Morgan Motor company of all those years ago. complemented with a large walk
through & seating area, ( The essential Beer Garden). It was one of the
best stands in the whole of the 12 halls. ( my opinion may be biest
:-))
On behalf of myself & RPi Engineering, I would like to express
my sincere thanks and warmest appreciation to, Both the
Morgan Car club of Germany. Messrs. Gregory Flaving, & his superb
staff. And I whole heartedly recommend the services and products of
Flaving Importers and all Other suppliers recommended by the Morgan Club
Deutschland.

There can be no mistaking the Rover V8
engine,
With its roots going back to the American Buick Skylark
in 1960, this has to be one of the most widely used engines in the world,
happily it is still in production and we are currently supplying over 200 a
year however we cannot be sure how long for as this engine is now only used in
a very few production Cars
We had one of the last 5 Turnkey 3.9's, on
Display Although we will be able to supply the 4.0 & 4.6 as a Turnkey
engine they will be quite a lot more expensive due incorporation of the 'Gems'
Engine management system.

At
Essen We launched the first level, upgrade Kit, Suitable for all 3.9 & 4.6
engine variants and also available for earlier 3.5 injection types at a lower
price, as Chipping is not required.
Supplied complete with our
acclaimed 4 page 'Health check list' This box of essential upgrades is fitted
easily in less than 2 Hours, & is guaranteed to offer min..20% usable
torque gains, Smoother Idle, More upper end Bhp and better fuel economy (at
least 10% more) & normally much more but original engine's mechanical
condition would always be a consideration.

The A&R ignition amp alone, is dyno tested to provide up to 5bhp and 5ft/lb torque across the entire rev range whilst providing smoother idle at under 750 rpm. |
