Find yourself a nice SD1, this is sure to keep the cost down and will ultimately produce the best results.
We have no excuses, for the cost of a proper rebuild, except if you want it done properly,& if you want it to look good & if it is to last.
Then, there is no other option than paying what it costs to have it done properly, or be happy with the compromises otherwise available
It makes sense to start with a tidy car, This SDi vitesse came in from Noway in very good shape, the biggest problem was, it had previously been unsuccessfully Turbo converted so engine wiring and ancillary devices are causing major headaches do this previous conversion.

You can see (why) the need to strip things completely,
Imagine spending thousands on a basic repaint, and the hidden corrosion problems where not found,
(More of the same) Engine bay panel corrosion
Although hidden it important to trace all corrosion areas and rectify accordingly.
 You would not expect you investment to last as problems missed would soon undermine all you had done and paid for. |

| New we're really talking a new 4.6 stage 3 engine to go in to the SDi. This will accelerate the car nicely :-) |

Here we are, nearly finished. Just a few things left to do and then this SDi will be off to Norway to it's owner.
