There have been lots of modifications to the power plant, here are a few of the main ones:

4.2 Litre V8 Engine
Specially built and race prepared by Rpi Engineering.

EFi
The Weber carburrettor was replaced with a Rover / RPi Electronic Fuel Injection system. A K & N Air filter has also been fitted.

Ignition System
Fitted with Mallory Dual Point Inginition and Magnecor Leads.

Fire Extinguiser System
To meet with racing regulations, an engine fire extinguisher system has been installed.
